Jackson Healthcare’s Robyn Smith Promoted to Executive Vice President of Human Resources

ATLANTA, March 4, 2019— Jackson Healthcare®,  a family of highly-specialized healthcare staffing, search and technology companies, today announced the promotion of Robyn Smith to executive vice president of human resources.

Since joining Jackson Healthcare in 2011, Smith has served as a key strategist and enabler in taking the company’s extensive associate professional and well-being offerings to the next level. She also has been instrumental in HR modernization across the business, introducing a host of systems to automate and streamline key functions, and to simplify the experience for all Jackson Healthcare associates.

An advocate for associate well-being, Smith was part of the leadership team that rolled out the company’s first on-site health clinic—and was a driving force in growing its wellness programs, on-site prescription dispensary, and mobile vision, dental and mammography offerings.

At Jackson Healthcare, associates have access to healthy eating options in the company’s on-campus restaurants, a state-of-the-art fitness and wellness center, and now its on-site childcare center. As publicly announced last week, AlleGro—the new Jackson Healthcare childcare and development center—is an offering that Smith personally helped champion. Co-located on the company’s corporate campus in Alpharetta, Ga., AlleGro will open in the Fall of 2019.

“Robyn has been a force behind so many of the associate benefits we offer today and has been a great advocate for consistently expanding our offerings to give our associates the best possible experiences. She has such a heart for our people and their well-being, and truly embodies our core value of ‘others first’,” said Jennifer Dangar, chief of corporate operations at Jackson Healthcare.

In her newly expanded role as executive vice president of human resources, Smith will lead the entire corporate team of professionals focused on HR operations, talent acquisition, training and development, benefits, human capital management, and employment policies and procedures.

“Robyn’s teams are a critical part of our companies’ success, as is the role she plays as senior adviser and strategic collaborator with our various company executives on all things people-related,” added Dangar.

Smith joined Jackson Healthcare following a successful career leading human resources for high-growth, global organizations in the enterprise software space, and in national healthcare and staffing firms. During her tenure, Jackson Healthcare has more than doubled its number of associates, been named among the best places to work in Atlanta, and more recently, debuted on Fortune’s list of the Best Workplaces in Health Care and Biopharma, and Best Workplaces for Millennials.
