Rick Jackson is founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Jackson Healthcare, one of the nation’s premier providers of healthcare workforce services. Since launching the organization in 2000, he has guided it through a strategic combination of acquisition and organic growth, building a family of more than 20 brands that are leaders and innovators in their respective markets. Under Rick’s leadership, Jackson Healthcare helps serve more than 20 million patients each year and is part of the Forbes® list of America’s Top Private Companies.

A serial entrepreneur with over four decades of experience, Rick has founded and led more than 35 healthcare companies, including staffing firms, surgery centers, hospitals, clinics and practice management organizations. His extensive expertise in starting, acquiring, operating and growing businesses has positioned him as a visionary leader with a proven ability to anticipate emerging trends, identify unmet market needs and scale innovative solutions that improve the delivery of patient care.

In 2025, the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) named Rick an Honorary Fellow in acknowledgment of his influence and lasting contributions to the healthcare industry. That same year, he received the Ann Cramer Lifetime Achievement Award from the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Leaders in Corporate Citizenship program in recognition of his approach to business being a force for good in the world, which for him has meant going beyond profit and making a positive difference in communities locally and abroad.

Motivated by his own experience in foster care, Rick is deeply committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable youth. He founded Fostering Success Act, Inc., a nonprofit focused on supporting young adults aging out of Georgia’s foster care system, and is co-founder and chair of FaithBridge Foster Care. Rick also serves as founding chair of goBeyondProfit – a no-cost resource for business leaders interested in evolving their corporate generosity efforts into a business strategy – and champions numerous philanthropic causes at home and abroad.
