Charles Evans is president of Jackson Healthcare Government Services and a senior advisor at Jackson Healthcare, its parent company. To this role, he brings principled leadership and global experience having worked in the healthcare industry his entire career – including serving in executive positions at Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), managing the Mid-America and Southeast divisions, and later becoming president of HCA’s Eastern Group.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), and served as a Governor of the College from 2004-2007 and Chairman Officer from 2008-2011. In 2014, Mr. Evans was the recipient of ACHE’s Gold Medal Award, the highest honor the organization bestows. In 2012, he attained the Board Leadership Fellow credential of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Mr. Evans also serves as president of International Health Services Group (IHSG). IHSG supports health services development in underserved areas of the world by working with established organizations to supplement their capabilities in healthcare management and development. Additionally, he is a special advisor to ACHE on International Affairs and is an honorary member of the International Hospital Federation. Mr. Evans holds corporate board positions with WellStreet Urgent Care and Jackson Healthcare, and nonprofit board positions with FaithBridge Foster Care and American International Health Alliance.
He received an undergraduate degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, a Master of Arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Indiana University.
