Bev Colan serves as president of Venn Workforce Optimization, a leading provider of locum tenens staffing optimization, program and supplier management and workforce solutions technology. In this role, Bev advances the company’s mission of reimagining healthcare talent and resource optimization, delivering transparency, efficiency and an unbiased market perspective to the hospitals and healthcare organizations it serves.
With over two decades of experience in healthcare staffing and workforce solutions, Bev’s expertise spans industry sectors, including locum tenens, nursing, advanced practice, and allied health, as well as Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs and Vendor Management Systems (VMS). She is known for her strength in driving strategies that expand market share, enhance operational efficiencies, and enrich relationships with key stakeholders.
Prior to joining Venn Workforce Optimization, Bev served as an executive vice president at the leading healthcare managed services firm, where she was instrumental in securing some of the largest workforce solutions programs in the locum tenens and nursing sectors. Her career also includes leadership roles with such organizations as AMN Healthcare and FocusOne Solutions.
Bev holds a Bachelor of Art degree with a double major in Interpersonal Communications and Spanish from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
