Staffing Industry Analysts Recognizes Executives from Two Jackson Healthcare Companies on “Global Power 150 Women in Staffing” List

Jackson Healthcare^®, a family of highly specialized healthcare staffing, search and technology companies, today announced that leaders from two of its businesses have been named to the 2023 “Global Power 150 Women in Staffing” list published by global research and advisory firm Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). This prestigious awards program, now in its ninth year, celebrates influential women shaping the workforce solutions marketplace.

This year’s honorees include executives from two Jackson Healthcare companies — Marisa Zaharoff, MSN, RN and president of Avant Healthcare Professionals, a premier staffing provider of internationally experienced nursing and allied health professionals, and Melissa Campbell, senior vice president of technology and operations at Jackson + Coker Locum Tenens, a leader in staffing solutions for locum tenens, including advanced practice and telehealth.

Since assuming the role of president at Avant Healthcare Professionals in 2021, Zaharoff, who is also a registered nurse, has made significant contributions to international staffing. Her achievements include facilitating the successful immigration of thousands of international healthcare professionals to the United States and establishing strategic partnerships to improve international recruiting outcomes. Throughout her tenure, Zaharoff’s leadership has empowered international healthcare professionals to achieve their American dreams and enabled U.S. healthcare organizations to address critical staffing shortages.

Campbell has led product and technology at Jackson + Coker Locum Tenens since 2020, with her role expanding this year to encompass operations. With a focus on advancing innovation through automation and operational excellence, she spearheads technology initiatives that enhance Jackson + Coker’s processes, communication and collaboration, and heighten the customer experience for the physicians and healthcare organizations the company serves. In her role, Campbell also emphasizes building relationships and embracing diverse perspectives, and champions the organization’s mission to connect providers with communities to transform lives.
