Jackson Healthcare Launches Season 2 of “Generosity at Work” Podcast

November 18, 2024

Jackson Healthcare® today announced the launch of the second season of its podcast, Generosity at Work, which explores how generosity is at work in our workplaces and the world.

Hosted by Keith Jennings, the company’s vice president of community impact, Generosity at Work serves as a resource for leaders and organizations looking to drive positive change through intentional, purpose-driven actions. In Season 2, Jennings talks with innovative thinkers and practitioners in the fields of business generosity and social impact, providing listeners with valuable insights and actionable strategies to amplify their generosity efforts within their local communities.

“Season 1 laid the groundwork by making the case for why generosity matters,” said Jennings. “But the most common question I received was about the practical next steps—how to get started and where to focus. In Season 2, we’re diving into this question to help our listeners integrate generosity into their businesses in meaningful, impactful ways. What I learned surprised me, and I think it will surprise listeners, too.”

Season 2 episodes will be released weekly, starting November 13, and feature a lineup of thought leaders and inspiring stories:

  • Episode 1: David Newell, known for his role as Mr. McFeely on “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” and work as director of public relations for Fred Rogers Productions, shares how businesses can act as good neighbors by actively engaging and listening to communities.
  • Episode 2: Philanthropy expert Jennifer McCrea discusses why strategic, personal and others-first leadership can create lasting impact.
  • Episode 3: Jessica Rodell from the University of Georgia shares her research on company volunteerism, offering insights into best practices and common pitfalls.
  • Episode 4: The founders of John’s Crazy Socks illustrate how any size business can make a big impact through generosity and community engagement.
  • Episode 5: The season finale synthesizes lessons from both Seasons 1 and 2, presenting a comprehensive playbook for business leaders looking to embed generosity into their culture.

Listen to both seasons of Generosity at Work here, and follow the podcast on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, YouTube and iHeartRadio.
