Your next strategic career move awaits: Jackson Physician Search is seeking a motivated outside sales professional to grow our Business Development team. Our candidate will have an energetic “hunter” mentality with the ability to thrive in a competitive, yet collaborative, team environment. You’ll partner with hospital executives and physician recruitment decision-makers to identify pain points and present why our services are the best fit for them.

Essential Duties:

  • Promote company services to existing and prospective accounts.
  • 25-50% travel (a year) within a multi-state territory along the East Coast.
  • Achieve monthly and annual search production goals.
  • Schedule in-person meetings and present to physician recruiting decision makers (C-Suite).
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts, with a focus on new business.
  • Partner with recruiting teams to manage client relationships.
  • Make recommendations regarding service, and relay customer feedback.
  • Promote services at trade shows.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years outside solutions sales experience, or 3+ years in healthcare staffing sales required.
  • Excellent prospecting, cold calling, face-to-face presentation, and closing skills required.
  • Confident, energetic, and professional presence: ability to effectively build relationships, overcome objections, and close business with C-Suite Executives required.
  • Knowledge and proven success in securing new business required.
  • Interpersonal, strategic communication, and relationship-building skills required.
  • Strong organizational and computer skills required; Salesforce/CRM experience preferred.
  • Stable employment history with verifiable references required.
  • 4-year degree preferred.
