The primary responsibility of the Senior Accountant is to become an integral part of the Accounting Team and assume responsibility for all accounting, budgeting, forecasting, billing/collecting review and reporting functions related to assigned contracts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Interpret and account for all aspects of Hospital and Physician Practice Management contracts.
Perform analysis of revenue and expense data.
Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
Reconcile general ledger accounts.
Forecasting & Budgeting.
Proactively provide information to help drive business profitability.
Develop strong working relationships with Operations, Customers and Billing & Collecting companies.
Conducts job duties in accordance with the Corporate Values and Culture
