The Marketing Specialist will develop and execute various multichannel lead generation and brand awareness campaigns for our target B2C and B2B audiences. This position is an integral role within our corporate marketing team and provides direct support to our recruitment and business development teams.

Essential Duties:

Generating completed job applications for the physician recruiters and high-quality leads for business development through email marketing is a primary focus of this position. A majority of the Marketing Specialist’s efforts will be dedicated to these mission-critical objectives.

  • Plan, create, and manage email marketing campaigns in Pardot to promote open job opportunities, blog/thought leadership content, white papers, and nurture/automation programs. Draft and send business development email campaigns to generate awareness of our recruitment services and assist the team with securing meetings.
  • Develop email marketing templates, segment and manage email lists, monitor deliverability and sender reputation, and maximize audience reach and engagement.
  • Apply email marketing best practices such as managing contact preferences, optimizing email frequency/recency, and minimizing opt-outs.
  • Manage our robust recruitment email calendar to ensure that email blast requests are properly scheduled. 
  • Train new recruiters and business developers on how to use Pardot, as well as provide continuous feedback on email marketing best practices.
  • Report email KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Study ever-changing email marketing trends to optimize our lead generation and lead nurturing efforts.
  • Increase brand awareness and engagement by creating and/or collaborating with our graphic designer and content specialist on new marketing collateral, digital and print ads, marketing videos, and content for our website and social channels.
  • As the industry’s most-respected thought leader, keep abreast of industry trends, suggest blog/thought leadership topics and research ideas, and contribute to their development and promotion.
  • With 40+ conferences per year, track speaking opportunities, write and submit abstracts, develop presentations, and promote our attendance/sponsorship.  
  • Contributes to team effort by coordinating client and candidate success stories, developing and uploading content to our website, proofreading proposals, uploading contact lists to Salesforce, tracking national-designated healthcare days, and a variety of other marketing projects as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Public Relations
  • 1-5 years marketing experience
  • Email marketing experience preferred
  • Strong written communication skills including persuasive selling and excellent story telling
  • Pardot and Salesforce experience preferred
  • Adobe creative suite preferred
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible
  • Must be extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent writing, grammatical, and proofreading skills in both business and creative writing
  • Desire to grow and develop, and do what it takes to get the job done in a fast-paced and energetic team
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment and tact
  • Ability to communicate with conviction and respect
  • Superb work ethic
  • Accountability and dependability is a must
