Jackson Healthcare Adds Matthew Harrison as Vice President of Human Resources

ATLANTA, GA, June 13, 2018 – Jackson Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare staffing services, announced the hiring of Matthew S. Harrison, Ph.D.. He is joining the rapidly growing Alpharetta company as Vice President of Human Resources. In this capacity, Harrison is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing human resources and administrative service functions for some of Jackson Healthcare’s operating companies. He also leads delivery in the areas of: HR metrics & reporting, job & compensation analysis, performance management, organizational development, change management and employee relations.

In addition to his role at Jackson Healthcare, Harrison currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Industrial/Organizational Psychology at The University of Georgia. Prior to joining Jackson Healthcare, Harrison served in leadership roles at Manheim, McKesson, The Weather Company and Comcast. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, Society for I/O Psychologists, Academy of Management and has received Diversity Leadership Awards from the National Diversity Council and the Technology Association of Georgia. He was recognized as one of Atlanta’s Power 30 Under 30 and was named a Man of Influence by the National Urban League.

Dr. Harrison is a graduate of Emory University (B.A.) and The University of Georgia (M.S. & Ph.D.).

He resides in Smoke Rise, Georgia.
